DESIGNER VAGINA: Labia puffing is the latest cosmetic surgery trend for your nether-regions

First we heard about lads super-sizing their shrivelled testicles with botox injections – but hot on the heels of the “Scrotox” trend comes a new designer vagina procedure just for the ladies.
Now women are feeling the pressure to plump up their privates with a new under-the-hood fad called “labia puffing”.
It may sound crazy but the bizarre non-surgical treatment involves injecting your own fat, or dermal fillers, into the labia majora to get rid of wrinkles and generally banish vaginal blues.
It’s for those who are worried about a somewhat “deflated” appearance down there but a youthful vagina doesn’t come cheap – the jab will set you back anywhere from £2,045 to £2,860.
We spoke to top beauty plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden, who has performed hundreds of these procedures, to get the low-down on ladybit rejuvenation.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star Online, she explained why women are itching to regain a youthful glow with the labial puff.

Dr. Jennifer said: “The vagina, like the rest of our bodies, loses volume (from collagen and fatty tissue) and fullness with age as well as elasticity of the skin.
“Plumping the labia majora gives it a more youthful appearance.
"The benefit of labia puffing is that it uses you own fat from another area of your body to add volume back to an area that deflates with time.
“This makes it look great as it immediately refills it to an appearance similar to what it may have looked like prior to childbearing and/or menopause.”If ladies choose to have their own fat pumped back into their privates, first it has to be sucked out with liposuction.
Dr. Jennifer said: “First fat is harvested from a good donor site such as the abdomen or inner thigh with a small cannula that has a blunt tip.
“It is then injected into the labia majora to puff it up through tiny access sites."
She continued: “Fat has a softer more natural appearance and can last longer than fillers.
"Fat requires a harvesting procedure (liposuction) which can leave it slim so that is a plus.
“Fillers are nice because the material is available off the shelf and it doesn't require a donor site somewhere else on the body and the local anesthesia needed to harvest your own fat.
“It's similar to getting areas on your face injected with Juvederm or Restylane in that it is a relatively quick procedure done in the office. It can be done in about thirty minutes to one hour.”
